UK Food Allergen Labeller is operated by METTLE STUDIO LTD. (Company number 09101770). By installing or using UK Food Allergen Labeller, you agree to these terms.

1. What UK Food Allergen Labeller does

UK Food Allergen Labeller is a Shopify app that helps food sellers manage and display ingredient and allergen information on their product pages. It provides tools to create ingredients, tag allergens, and render allergen data on your storefront.

2. Your responsibilities

You, the seller, are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legal compliance of all ingredient and allergen data you enter into UK Food Allergen Labeller.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Ensuring all ingredients and allergens are correctly identified in accordance with UK food allergen regulations (opens in a new window) (or applicable local laws if selling outside the UK)
• Keeping ingredient and allergen data up to date when recipes or suppliers change
• Verifying that the information displayed on your storefront accurately reflects the contents of your products
• Complying with all applicable food labelling and consumer safety laws in the jurisdictions where you sell

3. What UK Food Allergen Labeller does not do

UK Food Allergen Labeller is a data management and display tool. It does not:

• Verify or validate the accuracy of any data you enter
• Provide legal, regulatory, or food safety advice
• Test, analyse, or independently confirm the allergen content of your products

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mettle Studio Ltd. shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, or regulatory penalties arising from:

• Inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated ingredient or allergen data entered by you
• Reliance by your customers on allergen information displayed on your storefront via UK Food Allergen Labeller
• Any failure to comply with food safety or labelling laws

UK Food Allergen Labeller is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

5. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mettle Studio Ltd., its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of UK Food Allergen Labeller, including any claims related to the accuracy of allergen or ingredient information you provide.

6. Data and privacy

Your use of UK Food Allergen Labeller is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what data we collect and how we use it.

7. Availability and changes

We may update, modify, or discontinue UK Food Allergen Labeller at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes to these terms via the app or email. Continued use of UK Food Allergen Labeller after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

8. Termination

You may stop using UK Food Allergen Labeller at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify store. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
